(SOLD OUT) Youth Art Studio
Allerton Park and the Monticello Area Arts Council are partnering to offer a Youth Art Studio from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13 in the Greenhouse Auditorium. Third through eighth graders are welcome to participate in this workshop, which will be an immersive artistic experience that allows artists to communicate through multiple mediums and emphasize the natural world.
Projects will include canvas painting, wire sculpture, mixed media printmaking, animal sculpture and more. This program will introduce a variety of materials and techniques, expand skill sets, and develop mastery and expressive style of the young artist.
The day will culminate with an art exhibit at 4 p.m. in The Studio.
$85/person (3rd-8th grades). Register here by April 1. All sales are final.
The instructor for the workshop is Belinda Beccue, a local artist and educator. The Monticello Area Arts Council joins Allerton Park in offering valuable art experiences and opportunities to engage the community.
