(SOLD OUT) The Farms: Winter Tree ID Class
Learn about tree identification at a class indoors, then head outside to practice what you learned at the Winter Tree ID Class from 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20.
Allerton Natural Areas Manager Nate Beccue will lead this session, which starts with an indoor portion in The Studio, where you will delve into the terminology of tree identification and engage in hands-on activities that will focus on twig examination. Participants will also learn details about winter trees and their distinctive secrets.
After the classroom section, the group will head outdoors to apply their newfound knowledge in identifying trees while gaining an appreciation of nature.
