Tree Identification Walk

Learn to identify trees by more than just their leaves. Horticulture and Natural Resources Educator Sarah Vogel will discuss twig, bud, and bark characteristics of several native and introduced trees at Allerton Park. Grab your walking shoes and some sunscreen and meet us in the main parking lot at 10 a.m. Friday, June 24. The walk will last about two hours. After, consider cooling off with an Allerton “T” at the Greenhouse Cafe.
