Tree Identification Hike
Join Allerton Natural Areas Manager Nate Beccue for a Tree Identification Hike from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 on the park’s south side. Meet Nate and other hikers at the Lost Garden/McDonald Family Trails Parking Lot and set out on the hike.
Beccue will identify what trees are growing and teach hikers how to determine tree species with various identification strategies.
The hike will last approximately three hours and hikers are encouraged to bring a water bottle, bug spray and sunscreen.
$10/person. Register here by Sept. 27. All sales are final.
