The Farms: Figure Drawing
Skill Level: All Levels
Draw from a live model through lightly instructed sessions with Vivian Krishnan at Figure Drawing from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays, from Feb. 26 through March 25 in the Mansion Library.
Open to all levels — beginners, intermediate and advanced professionals — participants can join in five sessions that focus on quick gestures, long poses, and both costumed and nude models. Each session will include a demonstration that touches on fundamental techniques of life drawing.
$175/person for the series or $60/class*. Register here by Feb. 19 or three days prior to subsequent classes**. All sales are final.
*Includes one drink ticket per class. A cash bar will be available.

About the Instructor
Vivian Krishnan is a multimedia artist with works that cross the vast stage of storytelling, from designing costumes for theatrical characters to writing and illustrating diverse children’s books. She received her bachelors in Durango, Colorado, focusing on Printmaking and Sculpture as well as earning her MFA at UIUC in Theatrical Design.
Vivian is a life-long learner of many mediums and is excited to see how art continues to play a role at Allerton.
