The Farms: Autumn Linoleum Block Printing Workshop

Experience Level: Beginner

In this workshop, participants will learn to make linoleum block art prints. The workshop will. include an overview of the principles of relief printing, as well as instruction on safely using relief carving tools and making prints from carved linoleum blocks.

Participants will receive a linoleum block to carve and will take home both the block and the prints they make from it. Prints will dry overnight in the Studio and must be picked up during the following week.

Pre-drawn fall and Halloween-themed designs will be available, but attendees can also draw up their own creations!

Led by Allerton Program Coordinator Felix Fuenty, this session will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  Wednesday, Oct. 11 in The Studio.

$75/person (ages 15+). Register here. Registration includes materials. All sales are final.

About the instructor

Felix Fuenty is Allerton’s newest program coordinator. They like cats, the library, spicy food, Halloween, being outside and all sorts of art.
