Help catch a killer — superhero style — in the next edition of the Murder Mystery Dinner at Allerton, scheduled for 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 19-20. Immerse yourself in a world of suspense and intrigue with the Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company in an interactive murder mystery dinner.

This year revolves around a celebration of the League of Superheroes Expecting Righteousness’ (LOSERs) success in capturing its first-ever supervillain. Well, first-ever criminal…

As an attendee, your job is to listen, eavesdrop — anything it takes to figure out who performed the evening’s dastardly deed. (Please note that, while actors will play the main roles, guests are encouraged to participate as much as they are comfortable).

The price, which includes your meal, is $60 per person. A cash bar will be available, and the buffet dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.
