Irish Fest

Our always-popular Irish Fest returns with plenty of festive fun on Friday, Aug. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. on the Gatehouse Lawn. This outdoor concert will feature traditional Irish band Turas (6 p.m.) and On the Lash (7:30 p.m.) performing new takes on classic songs. The event is part of the Allerton Park Concert Series presented by Cim-Tek Filtration, with monthly concerts through Sept. 13.

Food will be available to purchase from these food trucks: Daro Coffee Co., La Paloma, The Music Stop, and Hodge Podge Gourmet Grilled Cheese. In addition, the Greenhouse Cafè will be open until 6 p.m.

A cash bar will be available. Attendees may also bring their own food, but no outside alcohol is permitted.

There will be an informal foam dance party (GREEN foam, of course) to kick-off the concert (approx. 6-6:30 p.m.). Young (and young at heart) concert-goers are encouraged to bring a towel and change of clothes.

$5/person or $10/family, payable upon arrival. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets.
