Volunteer at Allerton
The University of Illinois has always held public engagement as a priority; the mutual gain through such projects is both respected and appreciated. Previous Chancellor Richard Herman recognizes that both the University and the community “have much to gain through the sharing and creating of new knowledge.”
At Allerton Park & Retreat Center we maintain the University’s stance on public engagement: the potential reciprocal advantages should be realized and achieved. Allerton’s Volunteer Program is just the vessel for such a relationship. Volunteering is a worthy opportunity for the local community to engage with and affect Allerton Park & Retreat Center, while providing much necessary and desired assistance.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
