
SUMMER DAY CAMP: BUGGING OUT
Bugs are incredible! Learn more at Summer Day Camp: Bugging Out on June 16-20 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. From building complex homes to their efforts to pollinate plants, bugs are an integral part of the natural environment. Learn about different kinds of bugs, why they’re unique, and why we are grateful for them at Allerton Park!
Register 5- to 7-year-olds as Acorns, while 8- to 11-year-olds are Adventurers.
$200/person for the week*. The following add-ons are available at registration: Early Arrivers from 7-8 a.m. ($15), After Care from 3-5:30 p.m. ($35), and lunch for the week ($25). Campers can also bring their own lunch.

*Registration fees include two snacks, camp T-shirt and all necessary materials. Campers will need to bring their own water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray and a change of clothes/shoes.
A limited number of partial scholarships will be available this year. Scholarships will be awarded as a percentage of camp fees, based on need, as decided by Allerton. To apply for a scholarship, please complete the application here.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS
Register online (RECOMMENDED): Links to each week of camp will be available on the “Youth” section of our event calendar on March 12 at 9 a.m. You will be able to fill out the registration form and pay for as many weeks as you need online. (If a week of camp is sold out, you will automatically be asked if you would like to be put on the wait list.) If you need assistance, please contact Sarah at sputman2@illinois.edu.
Register by phone or in-person: Call (217-333-3287) or complete this form and bring it to the Gift Shop of the McCraw Family Visitor Center (Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Be sure to check camp availability before submitting registration in person. Check individual camp availability on the “Youth” section of our event calendar.
