The Farms: Arboretum Fall Migration Bird Hikes
Experience Level: Beginner
Observe a variety of migrating bird species at our Arboretum Fall Migration Bird Hikes on Tuesdays, Sept. 22 or Oct. 13 from 9-11 a.m. at the Illinois Arboretum (1800 S. Lincoln Ave., Urbana). Meet in the Arboretum Parking Lot (see parking information below).
Join Allerton Natural Areas Manger Nate Beccue to explore the Illinois Arboretum as birds begin to move south for the winter.
$10/person*. Register here. Hikes are free for Allerton Bird Club members. Join the Bird Club here. All sales are final. If a meeting location changes, registrants and bird club members will be notified by email.
*The entire hike will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly. A limited number of binoculars will be available on a first-come basis.
Limited metered parking spots are available in the lot near the Noel Welcome Garden and along South Lincoln Avenue. Additional metered parking is available in the lot south of the Japan House. (Electronic payment only by MobileMeter.) Parking is free after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
