Artist, librarian, and maker Megan Lotts will lead this informal guided drawing experience where students explore a place by observing and sketching what they see in real time. Rather than focusing on “perfect” drawings, students are invited to create quick, simple sketches that capture moments, spaces, and details of Allerton as they experience them.
The process often begins with low-stakes drawing prompts such as two-minute sketches, drawing familiar objects like a favorite meal, or six-line visual stories before moving into a walking route where participants sketch along the way.
$5/person*. Register here. Registration closes 3 days prior to the event or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.
