Mansion

The historic Allerton Mansion features a variety of rooms used for Farms courses.

Details: climate-controlled; accessible; wi-fi; portable audio-visual equipment can be added upon request

Parking: Main Parking Lot; accessible parking available via Rathje Drive

Restrooms: behind the Front Desk and in the Carriage House

Water: available in the Solarium

The Studio

The Studio is a multi-use, renovated historic space conveniently located across the street from the Visitor Center and Greenhouse Cafè.

Details: accessible; climate-controlled; wi-fi; interactive whiteboard

Parking: Visitor Center Parking Lot; accessible parking adjacent to the building

Restrooms: across Old Timber Road in the Visitor Center and Greenhouse

GREENHOUSE AUDITORIUM

The Greenhouse Auditorium is a favorite for small workshops, with moveable tables making it a versatile space. It is conveniently located in the same building as the Greenhouse Cafè.

MUSIC BARN

Set amid the beauty of an idyllic nine-acre farmstead, this converted two-story Dutch hay barn, with its exposed timbers and 30-foot ceiling, offers a rustic and charming atmosphere for community learning.

Details: not climate-controlled (used seasonally, April – October); accessible (via an elevator); no wi-fi

Parking: adjacent grass lot; accessible parking in front of the Barn

Restrooms: first floor

Water: first floor

Farms courses may have an outdoor component, or take place fully outdoors. Instructors will communicate specific location details and dress recommendations, if needed.
