Blue Dragonfly Catering* is now hiring a Kitchen Assistant to assist with catering operations year-round and seasonally in the Greenhouse Café at Allerton Park in Monticello, IL (open April through October). The Greenhouse Café focuses on fast, fresh, casual takeaway, with a creative menu in a beautiful setting. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to take initiative as they contribute to our small team. Training is available and there are opportunities for advancement!
Duties include:
- Oversee all food preparation in the Café
- Assist with Café operations, including tracking inventory and employee training
- Ensure food safety requirements are met
- Assist with catering jobs at Allerton and off-site throughout the year
Minimum qualifications:
- At least 18 years old-Industry experience
- Ability to work 35-40 hours a week, primarily during daytime hours
Preferred qualifications:
- Food service management
