Soap Making Workshop
Experience Level: Beginner
Learn to make your own soap at a Soap Making Workshop on Sunday, Nov. 15 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Mansion Carriage House.
Instructor Sally Walsh will walk students through the process of making soap including the science of making soap, safety, ingredients used, and the herbal benefits. Students will then learn how to make their own bar of soap with their preferred scents.
All students will take home four pounds of soap, plus a booklet of instructions and recipes.
$110/person*. Register here. Registration closes Nov. 8 or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.
*Students should wear old clothes.

About the Farms
The Farms: An Allerton Folk School, offers classes, workshops, and gatherings focusing on art, outdoor education, science, storytelling, and wellness. All experiences value hands-on, experiential teaching and learning, and are facilitated by and for the members of the community.
