While wandering on your own is highly recommended, our public tours and hikes offer another way to experience Allerton. Third Saturday Garden Tours (April-Oct.) and Public Mansion Tours showcase the exquisite beauty Allerton as well as the fascinating history of Robert Allerton and the creation of his estate. Led by our knowledgeable and passionate Natural Areas Manager, our guided hikes include everything from full moon explorations to bird watching adventures.
If you are interested in booking a private tour or hike, please contact us at AllertonEvents@illinois.edu.
