This part-time position will provide janitorial services to maintain the appearance of all employee and public facilities on the property including but not limited to the Mansion, Visitor Center, Greenhouse, parking lot restrooms, etc.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing outside operational tasks:
- Removal of snow and debris on roads, walkways, and paths during inclement weather
- Loading and maintaining wood burners
- Watering greenhouse plants
- Collecting and distributing mail
- Recording traffic counts
- Checking water tower and wastewater pumps and recording meter readings as needed
- Assist Park staff with event set-up and tear down
- Collect all waste and recyclable materials within Allerton to dispose of properly
- Assist in maintaining Allerton vehicles and equipment
- Provide security for all Allerton property
- Assist with parking and traffic control during busy times and events
- Other duties as assigned
Weekends Required – flexible work schedule.
