Sheppard Family Pioneer Cemeteries

This small pioneer family cemetery is located within Allerton Park just east of the Sun Singer statue on the south side of the road.  This cemetery has 10 markers, five markers have the surname Sheppard. Very little is known about the Sheppard family for which this cemetery is named.  Also buried in this cemetery is Charles A. Carlyle from Bath Co. Virginia.  Damaged headstones have been repaired over the years by Allerton Park staff.
