Guest Services — Extra Help. Major duties and responsibilities include:
Assist with gift shop operations:

- Sell gift shop merchandise
- Answer questions and share knowledge of Allerton Park with visitors
- Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the Gift Shop and Visitor Center
- Operate a Point of Sale system
Ensure that the guest experience is executed with attention to detail by maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for hotel guests:

- Make beds, remove and replace linens
- Clean bathrooms in both hotel and public spaces
- Dust and polish furniture
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Wash windows
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry
- Restock closets
- Report items in need of repair
- Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
Assist with front desk operations:

- Check guests in and out of hotel rooms
- Answer guest questions about Allerton history, amenities, other area attractions, and more
- Answer phones and take hotel reservations, including answering general questions and transferring calls to appropriate staff
Assist with event preparations:

- Set-up and tear-down equipment to ensure that events are ready when clients arrive
$15/hour. Days, evenings and weekends are required; flexible work schedule.
