Allerton Day Camp 2022

Allerton Day Camps get your child outside to discover art and nature through hands-on exploration! We are so excited to welcome campers back for Allerton Day Camp 2022!

Discovery Camp (3-4 years)

August 1-5  
Discovery Camp: Music & Sound 
 Monday – Friday, 8:30-11:30am – $92/week
Your camper will sing, learn new songs, and dance up a storm! We will also listen to the sounds of    nature and make our own instruments. Bring your dancing shoes! Click the above link to register.

August 8-12  
Discovery Camp: Habitat Hunt  
Monday – Friday, 8:30-11:30am – $92/week
Wildlife isn’t always easy to locate, but if you know where to look… you’ll be surprised how many creatures you can find! Your 3- and 4-year-olds will learn about different habitats and explore all the places that Allerton animals call home! Register click the above link to register.

Allerton Acorns (5-7 years)
Weekly camps: Monday – Friday, 9am-3pm – $185/week

Allerton Adventurers (8-12 years)*
Weekly camps: Monday – Friday, 9am-3pm – $185/week

*Adventurers visit the Monticello Family Aquatic Center twice weekly, which is $6 admission + $8 transportation via Piattran (Learn more in our Camp FAQs.)

New this year – included with registration, Acorn and Adventurer campers receive a healthy and delicious lunch from the Greenhouse Café!

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

Register in-person: Register in person at the front desk of the Allerton Mansion M-F, 9am-5pm.
Be sure to check camp availability before submitting registration in-person. Check camp availability on the “Youth” section of our event calendar.

Register via regular mail: Fill-out, print, and mail the registration form to:

Register by online payment system: Choose the weeks of camp you are interested in and pay through the “Youth” section of our event calendar.
Once a payment has been submitted online, email your completed registration form to Olivia at owarren@illinois.edu. Forms must be received 10 days after an online payment is made to ensure your spot in camp. (
The online payment system allows you to submit payment for one week of camp at a time. We apologize for any inconvenience.)

If your camper will need disability-related accommodations in order to participate, please email Olivia at owarren@illinois.edu.

Individual weeks of camp can fill quickly! Contact Olivia at owarren@illinois.edu to be added to the wait-list for a particular week of camp.
