You may have noticed some changes at Allerton over the last five years. Many of our visitors have commented on the activity, momentum, and excitement that seems to surround the Park. Allerton has been making strategic improvements in staff, facilities, and programming with one vision in mind: To inspire the community to utilize and value nature, history, and the arts through accessible and sustainable programming, research, and facilities. As Allerton continues on this path, our goal will expand beyond the local community, with intentions to influence a broader audience that is ever-changing and globalizing.
It is with great thanks that I would like to recognize the many groups who have provided the inspiration and opportunity for moving this vision forward.
Allerton’s volunteers give freely of their thought, time, and talent, thus greatly influencing the Allerton experience for visitors.
Allerton’s donors are the cornerstone to the continued improvements you see at Allerton, in the past, present, and future.
And of course, none of this would be possible without Allerton’s dynamic staff. Without these fearless, smart, hardworking, and engaging individuals we would not be able to continue to look forward to a future so bright.
