DESCRIPTION:Allerton will provide endless inspiration for young artists at Summer Day Camp: Fine Arts on June 9-13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drawing\, printmaking\, painting\, collage\, and sculpture are all ways that campers will explore their fine arts skills and the wonderful world of the Park! \nRegister 5- to 7-year-olds as Acorns\, while 8- to 11-year-olds are Adventurers. \n$200/person for the week*. The following add-ons are available at registration: Early Arrivers from 7-8 a.m. ($15)\, After Care from 3-5:30 p.m. ($35)\, and lunch for the week ($25).  Campers can also bring their own lunch. \nRegister your Acorn (ages 5-7) here. \nRegister your Adventurer (ages 8-11) here. (Adventurers also have the opportunity to go to the Monticello Family Aquatic Center twice a week. Learn more here.) \n*Registration fees include two snacks\, camp T-shirt and all necessary materials. Campers will need to bring their own water bottle\, sunscreen\, bug spray and a change of clothes/shoes. \nA limited number of partial scholarships will be available this year. Scholarships will be awarded as a percentage of camp fees\, based on need\, as decided by Allerton. SUMMARY:Spring Migration Bird Hikes
DESCRIPTION:Join Allerton Natural Areas staff on a unique bird-focused hike each Friday in April and May. As spring migration progresses\, the species of birds that can be seen changes almost daily. \nHikes are open to anyone and are free for Allerton Park Bird Club members. Registration is required to participate. \nEach week the hike will leave from the Allerton Main Parking Lot at 9 a.m. A different area of the park will be featured each week. Binoculars will be available on a first-come basis. \n$5/person\, free for Allerton Bird Club members. Register here.
