He was studied these owls six to seven nights per week since December of 2005\, documenting their behavior in both photos and video. \nGlenshaw also received the 2025 Outstanding Educator Award from the St. Louis Audubon Society. \nHis outreach includes an average of 70 owl prowls and 50 presentations per year\, including presentations to various Audubon Society chapters and six presentations for the Smithsonian Institution. \nIn 2006 Glenshaw was awarded the Citizen Science Award by the Academy of Science of St. Louis. He is also a Certified Interpretive Guide\, a certified Missouri Master Naturalist and a volunteer for Forest Park Forever.

Zines are small\, handmade booklets that combines words\, images\, collage\, drawing\, and storytelling to share ideas and experiences in a creative way. DESCRIPTION:Experience Level: Beginner \nConnect with your body in a peaceful environment during Community Yoga on Wednesday\, November 18  from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Mansion Library. \nJosie Heck with Yoga Off the Square will help you gently flow through a series of poses with the intention of being mindful of and reconnecting with your mind and body. Perfect for all levels\, this class will leave students feeling refreshed and at ease. \nParticipants are strongly encouraged to bring their own yoga mat and to wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. \nRegistration is required here two days prior to each session. Community classes are donation-based to help support the Park and public programs. While she specializes in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow\, her most popular classes are Beginners Yoga\, Chair Yoga\, Kids classes\, Yin Yoga\, Restorative Yoga and Gentle Flow. \nShe teaches yoga classes through The Farms as well as providing free classes at Monticello Middle School and free breathwork at Monticello High School. She has also led classes at the local hospital and senior assisted facilities.

Over the last decade she has expanded the range of classes to better serve the community. While she specializes in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow the most popular classes are Beginners Yoga\, Chair Yoga\, Kids classes\, Yin Yoga\, Restorative Yoga\, and Gentle Flow. \nShe teaches Community Yoga and Full Moon classes through The Farms at Allerton Park and Retreat Center and provides free classes at Monticello Middle School and Monticello High School. Josie has also led classes at the local hospital and senior assisted living facilities.

SUMMARY:Candlelight Meditative Sound Bath
DESCRIPTION:Experience Level: All Levels (ages 16+) \nImmerse yourself in soothing sounds at a Candlelight Meditative Sound Bath on Mondays Sept. 21\, Oct. 19\, or Nov. 30 from 7-7:45 p.m. in the Mansion Library. \nSound practitioner Marissa Michael will lead a sound bath using crystal singing bowls and chimes designed to promote relaxation and mindfulness. Breath-centered grounding and the resonant tones of the bowls will help to guide students inward. \nThese sessions offer a serene and contemplative atmosphere to soften\, unwind\, and settle into reflective stillness\, reconnecting with yourself in a meaningful and restorative way. \n$25/person*. DESCRIPTION:Experience Level: All skill levels (ages 13+) \nLearn how to ease your foot\, back\, or hip pain\, and hike without pain at MELT with Mary on Sundays\, Sept. 20\, Oct. 18\, Nov. 15\, or Dec. 20 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Mansion Library. \nInstructor Mary French will lead this introductory workshop to the MELT (Myofascial Energetic Length Technique) method\, a self-treatment system that uses soft rollers and balls to improve the body’s connective tissue\, nervous and lymphatic systems. \nStudents will use MELT soft balls and soft rollers as they learn simple techniques that can be done at home to remain active and healthy\, and help provide relief from low back pain\, arthritis\, bunions and plantar fasciitis \n$30/person*. Then MELTing afterwards will reduce the soreness from hiking.”
