Ways to Give Back

The past year has been filled with growth, improvements, and expanded community offerings at Allerton. This is in large part thanks to our Friends of Allerton. Please consider joining our community of donors and ensure that Allerton remains a magical getaway for generations to come! There are many ways you can give to Allerton, a place that has hopefully given you moments and memories that will last a lifetime.

Friends of Allerton Fund
When you give to the Friends of Allerton Fund, you support a number of initiatives that are transforming the Park into a more vibrant, integral part of the central Illinois community. Your generosity supports engagement events, restoration and maintenance, improved Park accessibility, as well as adding amenities like the Greenhouse Café.

Wish List
While unrestricted gifts from our Friends of Allerton are critical to improving the Park, you can also donate toward specific initiatives that YOU are most interested in supporting! Ares of interest include: Building Maintenance, Community Outreach and Engagement, Formal Gardens, the Mansion, and Natural Areas. You can find a detailed list of our most needed items here!

Dedicatory/Memorial Fund
Honor, remember, or give a gift to a fellow Allerton-loving friend or family member by dedicating a bench, tree, or peony. Your gift will be accompanied by a recognition plaque, and will
ensure the long-term care of your donated item.
Learn more here.

Sponsorships
Allerton relies on the support from organizations, businesses, and families to increase community engagement events like the Summer Concert Series, Wellness Walk, Prairie Sky Music Festival, and others. These events would not be possible without a financial investment from community partners.

Volunteering
Volunteering provides Allerton necessary and desired assistance, while giving the local community opportunities to engage with the Park and make a direct impact. From leading tours, working in the garden, or helping at special events
— whatever your talent or passion, contact us and
we will find the perfect avenue for you to leave
your mark! Learn more.

If you would like more information on ways to give, feel free to contact Katie at kmblacke@illinois.edu or 217-333-3287.
