Summer Day Camp: FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?
Participants may cancel their registration and withdraw from camp up to 10 business days from the start of camp and receive a full refund of the registration fee, less a $20 administrative fee. If a participant cancels fewer than 10 business days prior to the start of camp, they will be charged the full fee for that camp. Find the rest of our policies here.

When does registration end?
You may register as late as the Friday before your week of camp, however, registration fewer than 5 business days before camp starts must be completed in person and paid-in-full. In-person registration is done at the front desk of the Mansion (aka Retreat Center).

Do I have to pay the entire fee up-front?
We understand that it can be difficult to pay for camp at once. You are able to hold your space in camp with a non-refundable deposit of $20 per child per week. Your spot in camp will be held until payment is due – 10 business days prior to the start of camp. This deposit fee will be applied toward total camp fees.

Do you have any discounts for paying for multiple weeks?
Yes! Registration and payment of 4+ weeks of Camp at once (any 4+ weeks of camp during the summer) will result in a 10% discount of registration fees.

What extended day options do you have available?
Before (7-8am) and After (3-5:30pm) Care is available to extend the Camp day. These options are listed on the Camp page and your Registration Form. Campers must sign up for Extended Day in advance.

Do we need to purchase a pool pass for our Adventurer camper to go swimming?
Not necessarily. You may purchase a season pass to the Monticello Family Aquatic Center to simplify your pool experience. Or you may choose to pay the $5 Daily Fee per visit. Pool fees will be collected by camp staff. Campers who opt out of going to the pool will remain with camp staff at Allerton to continue the fun there!

Is food provided at camp?
Snacks are provided, but campers bring their lunch.

I live outside the immediate area. Are there any shuttle options?
Piattran is an option for those within and outside of Piatt County. Contact their office for more information.

Do you have any financial assistance programs?
We have a limited number of Camperships available. Click here for more information.
