The sales and events intern will receive a unique and exciting opportunity to work alongside Allerton staff to plan, organize, and execute weddings, conferences, retreats, and other events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales Associate and Retreat Center Manager with the coordination and execution of conferences, weddings, retreats, and other events.
- Act as liaison between the Allerton staff and customers regarding event set-up, equipment needs, and special requirements for the event.
- Work closely with housekeeping staff, front desk staff, catering staff, and management to ensure the areas used for events are arranged according to the customer’s requests.
- General administrative work including answering phones, returning emails, compiling folders and other sales materials.
Dates: May to August (An ideal candidate would be available to continue working weekends throughout the fall.)
