We hope that Allerton is a peaceful place to find respite, relaxation, and inspiration during this challenging time. In order to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff, we are following the recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and have implemented the following policies and procedures. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
–Masks/face coverings are required in all common areas
-Staff and guests are required to maintain 6 feet from others (Unless participating in an approved activity permitted under Phase IV guidelines)
-Common areas are not available for gathering (i.e., lounge areas, basement Rec Room, and Library Terrace)
-Public restrooms and common areas are cleaned and sanitized more frequently, including door knobs, light switches, the Front Desk, and other frequently touched surfaces
-Self-serve beverage dispensers are no longer in use; individual bottled water and other beverages are available upon request (Find the CDC’s Restaurant and Bar safety guidelines here.)
-Hand sanitizer is available in all common areas
-Some furniture has been removed to eliminate congregating
-Coat racks are not available
-Signage is displayed at the entrance and throughout the property about face covering requirements, social distancing guidelines, and reduced capacity limits
Payment will be processed with the credit card on file that was used to make your reservation. No signatures will be required upon arrival, but we will be asking for a verbal consent of our non-smoking policy. There is a barrier between guests and our Front Desk staff.
All keys are disinfected before handing to guests and upon return to the Front Desk. Visitors staying in the guesthouses (Gatehouse, House in the Woods, and Evergreen Lodge) should utilize our curbside pick-up for their keys, and leave keys in their room upon departure.
A reduced number of hotel rooms are available to minimize congestion. In addition to our normal cleaning protocol, all surfaces are disinfected with an atomizer.
