The Farms: Wet Felt Rose

Experience Level: Beginner

Create a keepsake out of locally sourced wool at Wet Felt Rose on Wednesday, June 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Greenhouse Auditorium.

Stephanie Block of Sundrop Alpacas will help students turn alpaca and sheep’s wool into a wet felt rose. Students will start with a bag of fiber, turn it into felted sheets, then craft their natural felt into a unique work of art.

$65/person. Register here by June 1. All sales are final.

About the instructor

Stephanie Block is the co-owner of Sundrop Alpacas near Bement. She has been producing popular yarn from her own alpacas for more than eight years. Stephanie’s spinning style is self-taught, and she is continuously learning so that she can share that knowledge with others.
