Summer Solstice Celebration
Join us for the official start of summer at our Summer Solstice Celebration in the Meadow on Thursday, June 20 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Enjoy the “longest day of the year” with music, food trucks, a cash bar and a bonfire starting at 8 p.m. Register for a suncatcher workshop (see below), bring your instrument for a jam session, grab a bite to eat, or just bring a blanket and take it all in from the Meadow.
Activities include:
— 6-6:30 p.m.: Teen Summer Solstice Suncatchers* (Studio)
— 6-10 p.m.: Burrito King Food Truck, cash bar (Meadow)
— 7-7:45 p.m.: Solstice Suncatchers & Bracelets* (Studio)
— 7-8 p.m.: Acoustic Jam Session with Rex Parvin (Meadow). Bring your instruments and take part!
— 8-10 p.m.: Bonfire (Meadow)
Donations accepted on-site. No registration is required.
*Separate cost and registration required.

The Farms: An Allerton Folk School, offers classes, workshops, and gatherings focusing on art, health & wellness, history, nature & outdoor education, or science. All experiences value hands-on, experiential teaching and learning, and are facilitated by and for the members of the community.
