Sculpture Tour
Although he was a self-proclaimed ‘failed-artist’, Robert Allerton succeeded in creating 14 picturesque formal gardens, which serve as an outdoor gallery for the sculptures he collected during travels around the world. Learn about some of the most iconic sculptures in the Park on this early spring tour. We’ll begin in the Mansion Courtyard, travel through the Avenue of the Formal Gardens to the Brick Wall Garden, and end in the Sunken Garden, discussing sculptures along the way, including, but not limited to: the Primitive Men, Girl with a Scarf, Adam, and The Three Graces.
Meet in the Mansion Courtyard. Tours typically last 45-60 minutes, and will continue in slight drizzle. In the case of lightening/thunder, the tour will be cancelled, and your ticket can be transferred to another tour date upon request.
General Admission: $5/person (Ages 5 & under are free.)
