The Farms: Historical Dancing: Robert’s Birthday Ball

Help celebrate the birthday of Robert Allerton by learning dances from around the world at Historical Dancing: Robert’s Birthday Ball on Friday, March 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Mansion Library.
Robert Allerton was an avid traveler. To celebrate his birthday in appropriate style, we are hosting a birthday party featuring music and dances from around the world, led by instructor Jeanette Watts. Festive dress is encouraged but not required.
A bar will be available.
$30/person. Register here. Registration will close March 17 or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.

About the instructor
Jeanette Watts has been teaching historical dances for over 20 years. She is the founder of the Terpsichorean Delights Dance Assembly in Dayton, Ohio, Queen City Vintage Dance in Charlotte, North Carolina, and spent covid writing an 8-volume series of instructional dance manuals for historical museums.

The Farms: An Allerton Folk School, offers classes, workshops, and gatherings focusing on art, health & wellness, history, nature & outdoor education, or science. All experiences value hands-on, experiential teaching and learning, and are facilitated by and for the members of the community.
