The Farms: Pop-Up Art Show
Come see the artwork created by Dodd Holsapple during his current residency at a Pop-Up Art Show on Friday, March 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Mansion Library.
The Southern California-based painter and sculptor has generated 18 paintings during his three-week residency at the Park, all of which will be on display at the show. They reflect the architecture, sculpture and landscape of Allerton while using Holsapple’s method of infusing scientific data into his art to create abstract pieces that have recognizable features.
There is no charge to attend the art show and tickets are not required.
Consider making a weekend out of it and stay overnight with our Weekend Wind Down, which will include discounted rooms ($110/night + tax) and optional activities like Friday night’s Zoo Improv Show and a Foraging Walk Saturday afternoon. View rooms here and book online or by calling 217-333-3287. Find out more about our weekend Wind Down series here.
If you will need disability-related accommodations to participate, please email owarren@illinois.edu.
