Picnic With the Peonies

Registration for this popular event will open on Monday, March 16.

Enjoy a picnic and a stroll through our beautiful, expansive Peony Garden at Picnic With the Peonies on Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17 (see times below).

Check in at the Meadow for your reserved table (seats up to 8), which includes a charcuterie board from Baxter’s Catering to share and two bottles of wine (or champagne and orange juice!*). A bar will be available so you can sip as you savor the season at Allerton!

Purchase additional items for your picnic at the Greenhouse Cafè, or bring your own additions (no outside alcohol is permitted). And of course, be sure to leave time to check out the picturesque Peony Garden! (Find information about reserving our power chairs here.)

Register for one of the following time slots:

Saturday, May 16: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1-3 p.m.

Sunday, May 17: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1-3 p.m. 

Enjoy live music from Billy Galt (Saturday) and Lisa & Tom (Sunday) during the 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. time slots. The Mansion will also be open to the public on both days for self-guided tours of the first floor.

$100/table (seats up to 8). Registration opens here on March 16. Registration will close May 5 or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.

*Mimosas are only an option for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. time slots.
