(SOLD OUT) Picnic With the Peonies presented by Busey Bank
Enjoy a picnic in the Meadow and a stroll through our beautiful, expansive Peony Garden at Picnic With the Peonies presented by Busey Bank on Saturday, May 16 or Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1-3 p.m.
Check in at the Meadow for your reserved table (seats up to 8), which includes a charcuterie board from Baxter’s Catering to share and two bottles of wine (or champagne and orange juice!*). A bar will be available so you can sip as you savor the season at Allerton!
Purchase additional items for your picnic at the Greenhouse Cafè, or bring your own additions (no outside alcohol is permitted). Moon Bean Coffee will be here on Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.!
And of course, be sure to leave time to check out the picturesque Peony Garden! (Find information about reserving our power chairs here.)

Enjoy live music from Billy Galt (Saturday) and Lisa & Tom (Sunday) during the 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. time slots. The Illinois Prairie Ikenobo Chapter is hosting an Ikebana: Party with Shakuyaku 芍薬 on Saturday and A Grand Ikebana Demonstration on Sunday. (Must register separately.) The Mansion will also be open to the public on both days for self-guided tours of the first floor.
*Mimosas are only an option for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. time slots.
