The Farms: Needlefelt Painted Turtle

Experience Level: Beginner

Make a unique piece of art out of locally sourced alpaca fiber at Needlefelt Painted Turtle on Tuesday, July 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. in The Studio.

Stephanie Block of Sundrop Alpacas will walk students through the needlefelting process to make a turtle — which she describes as possibly the coolest reptile ever. Turtles can be customized during the workshop to make them look authentic, whimsical or anything in between. The class is perfect for turtle fans and/or those wanting to learn a new art form.

$65/person. Register here by June 27. All sales are final.
