(SOLD OUT) Murder Mystery Dinner: Silver Screen Scandals
Immerse yourself in a world of suspense and intrigue at our Murder Mystery Dinner: Silver Screen Scandals on Saturday, Jan. 11 in the Mansion Gallery, presented by the Champaign Urbana Theatre Company’s Seven Corpse Dinner Murder Mysteries. The evening begins with a cocktail half-hour at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
CUTC will present the following story: It’s 1926, a roaring year for Hollywood and Laureate Pictures is no exception. Studio boss Howard D. Reese is throwing a gala at his swanky Beverly Hills mansion and you’re invited along with the stars. And not just the stars; Mr. Reese has invited all who work for him — from publicists and costumers to lowly extras — who are all there to help toast the future of moving pictures.
Your job? Insert yourself into the story, embrace the suspense and solve the case by questioning suspects and looking for clues (eavesdropping is also allowed and encouraged). Roaring 20s attire is recommended but not required to attend this party with the stars!
$60/person. Register here by Dec. 26. All sales are final.
If you will need disability-related accommodations to participate, please email Kirstin Mindiola at mindiola@illinois.edu.
