Monthly Allerton Blend
Enjoy your morning pick-me-up while getting up-to-speed on all things Allerton! Grab a coffee and join Allerton staff in the Greenhouse Café at 9am on the second Thursday of each month to hear about a blend of topics on the past, present, and future of the Park. All sessions will include an opportunity for Q&A; some will end with an optional walk/hike.

Thursday, July 12: “Mini” State of Allerton Address – Hear an update of the recent past, current projects, and future plans.
Thursday, August 9: Triangle Parterre Garden – Learn about the history of this Robert Allerton original Garden, and plans for the upcoming renovation. Includes an optional short walk to the Garden.
Thursday, September 13: Event Planning 101 – Planning an upcoming meeting or personal party? Allerton is full of memorable spaces and a variety of catering options to fit your needs! Includes an optional short tour of the Mansion.
Thursday, October 11: Natural Areas – ‘Tis the season for enjoying the outdoors! Learn more about Allerton’s 1,500 acres of natural areas, management practices, and ask your own land management questions.
Thursday, November 8: Planned Giving – Help sustain Allerton for future generations! Our guest from the U of I Foundation will explain various methods of making a gift to achieve your personal and charitable goals.
Thursday, December 13: Sustainable Allerton –Learn what Allerton is doing to meet our goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2035. Hear about upcoming plans and find ways to make your own home more energy efficient.
