SOLD OUT – Mason Bee House Workshop
About 30% of the 5,000 native bee species in North America build nests in various above-ground cavities or tunnels. There are two main kinds of tunnel-nesting bees: Mason Bees and Leafcutter Bees. Both types are found across the U.S. providing essential pollination services for fruits and veggies. (Learn more from Brokaw, Isaacs.) Join Piatt County Master Gardener Kent McFarland as he teaches you the importance of having a Mason Bee House in your garden, and guides you through building one using recycled and natural materials. Space is limited and registration is required. Registration deadline: March 18.
