SOLD OUT – Lyric Under the Stars

Lyric Theatre @ Illinois and Allerton Park & Retreat Center invite you to spend an evening Under the Stars in the beautiful Sunken Garden, listening to romantic favorites from opera and musical theatre like West Side Story, Les Misérables, and Madama Butterfly. Eat and drink with family and friends and be transported by the orchestra, singers, and choruses from the world’s most beloved theatrical works.
Lyric Theatre is proud to be part of the University of Illinois School of Music and resident at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, which has graciously provided production design and support.
Join us on Friday, September 24 (starting a 7:30pm) or Saturday, September 25 (starting at 7:00pm).
Seating and a cash bar will begin at 6:00pm (credit cards accepted).
Performance will last about 90 minutes.
Tickets:
Patrons will be seated at tables. Parties may include up to 8 people. If purchasing tickets separately please indicate with whom you would like to sit.
Arts Advocate: $40
(If you can, show your love for the arts by purchasing an “Arts Advocate” ticket; the additional ticket cost directly benefits Lyric Theatre @ Illinois)
General Admission: $25
Student: $10
Food (May only be purchased with an admission ticket)*
Greenhouse Café Dinner Box Add-On: $15
(Turkey & Brie with chips, fruit salad and signature dragonfly cookie)

Ticket sales end September 17. All sales are final.
Please note that this event has a limited capacity (200), and it is common for tickets to sell out quickly.

– Masks are required if unable to maintain 6 feet from others (vaccinated or unvaccinated) except with eating or drinking
– Remember to keep 6 feet between you and other guests not in your party
Directions:
For directions from Champaign, please view the Allerton Directions & Map. Once you’ve arrived, please use the Park map for directions to the Sunken Garden (#27 on the map). Parking is available in area located across from the Sunken Garden, as indicated on the map.
