He was studied these owls six to seven nights per week since December of 2005\, documenting their behavior in both photos and video. \nGlenshaw also received the 2025 Outstanding Educator Award from the St. Louis Audubon Society. \nHis outreach includes an average of 70 owl prowls and 50 presentations per year\, including presentations to various Audubon Society chapters and six presentations for the Smithsonian Institution. \nIn 2006 Glenshaw was awarded the Citizen Science Award by the Academy of Science of St. Louis.
