DESCRIPTION:Experience Level: Beginner (Ages 14+)\nCreate a handmade paper replica of a cherished object at Sculptural Papermaking on Sunday\, March 29 from 12 to 4:30 p.m. in the Evergreen Lodge. \nInstructor E Ainsley will guide students through making a mold of their chosen object. Students will then create a new sculpture with their mold using pulp from meaningful papers\, journal pages\, photos or old documents. The process of breaking down old notes and letters and transforming them into something new can be magical! Because the fibers have the potential to hold so much history\, the medium works on its own to tell stories\, disrupt or establish an archive\, and ask questions about origin.\nEach student will leave with a paper replica of their original object as well as a silicone mold for future use.\n$150/person*. As for honey\, she kept a single jar in the back of her kitchen cabinet for recipes. Today she is a master beekeeper who never eats sugar.\nMaggie received her first hive as a gift in 2008. By 2010\, she was enrolled in the Master Beekeeper course at the University of Florida. From there\, things happened quickly to turn her life around. In 2012\, she started teaching beekeeping for Parkland Community Education and today she is a beekeeping teacher\, honey judge\, mead maker and master beekeeper.\nAlong the way\, she met fellow beekeeper Steve Halfar. Together\, they pollinate apple orchards\, chase black locust honey and keep their 50-odd hives thriving. They have participated in honeybee research at the U of I and USDA.\nDuring the summer\, you can find Maggie and Steve selling honey at the Urbana Market at the Square on the first Saturday of every month. DESCRIPTION:Spend Friday the 13th helping solve a crime at our Murder Mystery Dinner: Irish Wake presented by the Champaign Urbana Theatre Company’s Seven Corpse Dinner Murder Mysteries on Friday\, March 13 in the Mansion Gallery.  Doors open at 7 p.m. for a cocktail half-hour\, followed by dinner* at 7:30 p.m.\nCUTC will present the following story: James Andrew O’Meara has gone to meet his maker and his final request was for a good old-fashioned Irish Wake to mark his passing. His entire family is there — even some relatives so distant that no one knows who they are. After the service Andrew’s will is to be read. But watch out: surprises in the will could prove to be downright deadly!\nYour job? Insert yourself into the story\, embrace the suspense and solve the case by questioning suspects and looking for clues (eavesdropping is also allowed and encouraged). Funeral attire is recommended but not required to attend this Irish wake!\n$65/person. Register here.
