The Farms: Intuitive Yoga & Journaling

Experience Level: Beginner

Make time for meditation, reflection and journaling at Intuitive Yoga & Journaling on Thursdays, July 3, 10, 24 and 31 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. outdoors in the Meadow (or in case of rain in the Music Barn).

Led by certified yoga instructor Olivia Tasch, these classes will feature one hour of yoga followed by 30 minutes of journaling. Students will start with intention setting and meditation before easing into a gentle yoga sequence that emphasizes intuitive flow and follows the rhythm of your body.

Classes will conclude with dedicated time for reflection and journaling. Prompts will be offered but students will also be encouraged to write about anything that came to their mind during the session.

$20/class. Register one week prior to each class. All sales are final.

About the instructor

Olivia Tasch completed her 200-hour teacher training at Amara Yoga & Arts in 2019. Since then, she has taught vinyasa flow classes, gentle yoga and prenatal yoga. Each teaching experience has given her the opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher and has provided her with new perspectives that inform her teaching.

Tasch’s classes are rooted in intuitive movement, safe alignment and encouraging students to follow their own inner rhythm. Yoga has served as an anchor through some of Olivia’s most challenging moments and she hopes to provide students the opportunity to find how yoga can best serve them.

Outside of teaching yoga, she is also a certified Secondary English and Special Education teacher and has taught in the Champaign area for the past 12 years.
