The Farms: Heart Opening Stretch ‘n Sip Yoga
Experience Level: Beginner
Make time for some moving meditation followed by a drink and conversation at a special Heart Opening Stretch ‘n Sip Yoga on Sunday, Feb. 15 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Mansion Library.
Led by Josie Heck of Yoga Off the Square, this session will focus on heart opening postures.
This event is open to all ages, but you must be 21 to enjoy a drink after class.
$15/person* for Stretch and Sip (Ages 21+), $10/person for Stretch only. Register here at least one day prior to each class. All sales are final.
*Participants are encouraged to bring their own mat. Limited mats will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

About the Instructor
Josie Heck began teaching in 2014 after receiving her 200-hour training through Amara Yoga & Arts and Yoga Alliance. Over the last decade she has expanded the range of classes to better serve the community. While she specializes in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow the most popular classes are Beginners Yoga, Chair Yoga, Kids classes, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Gentle Flow.
She teaches Community Yoga and Full Moon classes through The Farms at Allerton Park and Retreat Center and provides free classes at Monticello Middle School and Monticello High School. Josie has also led classes at the local hospital and senior assisted facilities.

The Farms: An Allerton Folk School, offers classes, workshops, and gatherings focusing on art, health & wellness, history, nature & outdoor education, or science. All experiences value hands-on, experiential teaching and learning, and are facilitated by and for the members of the community.
