The Farms: Full Moon Hike

Experience Level: Beginner

Enjoy a Full Moon Hike celebrating the ‘Buck Moon’ on Thursday, July 10 from 8 to 10 p.m., starting from the Main Parking Lot. Allerton Natural Areas Manager Alex Lourash will lead the hike through the woods to listen for owls and other nocturnal wildlife under the light of a full moon.

The July full moon is known as the ‘Buck Moon’, which celebrates the time where male deer (bucks) typically feature fully grown antlers.

Enjoy the hike on its own or add a beer to enjoy while you walk.

$10/person, $20/person includes a beer with the hike (Ages 21+). Register here. Registration will close July 6 or when capacity is reached.
