SUMMARY:The Farms: Spring Migration Bird Hikes
DESCRIPTION:Experience Level: Beginner\nJoin Allerton Natural Areas staff on a unique bird-focused hike at Spring Migration Bird Hikes each Friday in April and May from 9 to 11 a.m. \nAs spring migration progresses\, the species of birds that can be seen changes almost daily. A different area of the park will be featured each week. A limited number of binoculars will be available on a first-come basis. At times the hikes will leave the trails\, so please dress accordingly.\n$10/person; Free for Allerton Bird Club members. Register here. Become a Bird Club member here. All sales are final. DESCRIPTION:Attend one of our Formal Garden Tours*\, where you can experience the beauty of Allerton’s formal gardens and learn the history of the estate\, created between 1899 and 1946 by Robert and John Gregg Allerton. \nTours typically last 60 minutes and will meet on the Greenhouse Patio. Tours will continue in a light drizzle. In the event of lightning or thunder\, the tour will be canceled and tickets can be transferred to another tour date upon request. \n$10/person. Register here.
