DESCRIPTION:Join us as the U of I Sustainable Student Farm and University Catering serve up an elegant meal at a special Supper Club on Friday\, Sept. 18 outside at the Illinois Arboretum (1800 S. Lincoln Ave.\, Urbana). \nThis intimate\, fine-dining experience was created to build a community through a shared love of food\, arts and education. Enjoy a cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m. (Supper Club members will have access at 6 p.m.) followed by dinner at 7 p.m. \n\nMenu:\nFirst course: Asian Eggplant\, Roma Tomato Ratatouille\, Basil\, Sweet Pepper Emulsion\nSecond Course: Pan Seared Farm Herb Marinated Breast of Chicken\, Herby Roasted Colored Potatoes\, Garlicky Swiss Chard\, Garlic-Shallot Jus\nThird Course: Carrot cake with cream cheese icing\, candied delicata squash\, beet root mousse\, ground cherry garnish \n\n$100/person*.
