DESCRIPTION:Experience Level: Beginner\nCreate a keepsake out of locally sourced wool at Wet Felt Rose on Wednesday\, June 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Greenhouse Auditorium.\nStephanie Block of Sundrop Alpacas will help students turn alpaca and sheep’s wool into a wet felt rose. Students will start with a bag of fiber\, turn it into felted sheets\, then craft their natural felt into a unique work of art.\n$65/person. Register here by June 1. SUMMARY:The Farms: Full Moon Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Meet us on the night of the full moon to strengthen your body\, mind and spirit at Full Moon Yoga on Thursday\, June 12 and Friday\, Aug. 8 from 8 to 9 p.m. in the Meadow. Instructor Josie Heck with Yoga Off the Square will lead the class through strength poses perfect for students of all levels.Students are encouraged to bring their own mat. Limited mats will be provided on a first-come\, first-serve basis. \nRegistration is required here. Community classes are donation-based to help support the Park and public programs. Over the last decade she has expanded the range of classes to better serve the community. While she specializes in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow the most popular classes are Beginners Yoga\, Chair Yoga\, Kids classes\, Yin Yoga\, Restorative Yoga\, and Gentle Flow. \nShe teaches Community Yoga and Full Moon classes through The Farms at Allerton Park and Retreat Center and provides free classes at Monticello Middle School and Monticello High School.
