The Farms: Beginning Nature Journaling

Experience Level: All levels

Slow down and engage with the natural world at Beginning Nature Journaling on Saturday, May 2 from 1-2:00 p.m. in the Mansion Carriage House.

This calming, creative workshop led by the Allerton Park Natural Journaling Club will blend the mindful art of “zentangle” with the observational practice of nature journaling. Whether it’s a single leaf, a wildflower, a feather, or the texture of tree bark – students will learn how to translate their observations onto a journal page.  The focus will be on process over perfection—embracing curiosity, creativity, and mindfulness.

$5/person. Register here. Registration will close May 2 or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.

This workshop is part of The Farms Spring Market, featuring additional folk school instructors talking about and selling their creations. Learn more here.
