Artist Talk with Simiya Sudduth

Join us as we welcome Simiya Sudduth, one of our Spring 2022 Artists In-Residence, to the Allerton community! Simiya will share work, processes and the conceptual underpinnings of their practice as a multidisciplinary artist and art educator during an artist talk with time for Q/A + discussion on Sunday, March 20th from 7-8pm.

Made possible by Joan and Peter Hood, and Dana Brehm and Larry Baumann, Allerton’s  In-Residence Program aims to support and highlight the meaningful work of creators, educators and researchers, making their professions more accessible to the public, while bringing awareness to unique characteristics of Allerton.

This Spring’s In-Residence is the result of a partnership with the University of Illinois’ Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (OVCDEI)
