The Farms: Arboretum Fall Migration Bird Hikes

Experience Level: Beginner

Observe a variety of migrating bird species at our Arboretum Fall Migration Bird Hikes on Thursdays, Sept. 25 or Oct. 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Illinois Arboretum (1800 S. Lincoln Ave., Urbana). Meet in the Arboretum Parking Lot*.

Join Allerton Natural Areas Manger Nate Beccue to explore the Illinois Arboretum as birds begin to move south for the winter. A limited number of binoculars will be available on a first-come basis. The entire hike will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

$10/person. Register here. Hikes are free for Allerton Bird Club members. Join the Bird Club here. All sales are final. If a meeting location changes, registrants and bird club members will be notified by email.

*Limited metered parking spots are available in the lot near the Noel Welcome Garden and along South Lincoln Avenue. Additional metered parking is available in the lot south of the Japan House. (Electronic payment only by MobileMeter.) Parking is free after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
