Enjoy live music, food, and fun this summer during our modified annual Concert Series presented by the U of I Community Credit Union! This year we are striving to provide the same lively, spirited, and entertaining Concert Series with a few updates to ensure the safety of our visitors. Experience a moment of “fun in the sun” on the Gate House Lawn as you safely relax, listening to tunes surrounded by the calm ambiance of the Park. (Please note that space is limited, and pre-registration is required.)
Join us for the soothing blues melodies of Billy Galt & the Blues Deacons. The Blues Deacons have been a mainstay of the downstate Illinois blues scene since forming in 1990 while Billy Galt (guitar/vocals) has made blues his profession since 1980. Together, these three veteran musicians form a tight blues machine while retaining a raw, soulful edge. Grab your blankets or lawn chairs and pick your perfect spot to sit back and take in the show.
Reservations are required to attend the concert. Sign up here.
Participants will be required to show proof of registration at the gate.
We ask that you delete your reservation if your plans change and you are no longer able to attend.
Visit the Greenhouse Café or Just Bee Açaí for a bite to eat. Or, bring a meal/snacks from home. A cash bar will also be available (no outside alcohol, please).
A donation of $5/person or $10/family is suggested, and will be collected at the gate. Or, make your gift here.
